HI-Light Programme

The HI-Light programme is designed to support the holistic development of children. It fosters children’s acquisition of values, social and emotional skills and learning dispositions, as well as knowledge and skills across the following five learning areas through an integrated approach:

Values, Social and Emotional Competencies and Learning Dispositions

Values, social and emotional competencies and learning dispositions enhance the learning experiences created to develop children’s knowledge, skills and dispositions in the five learning areas. Values helps to set standards and norms to guide children’s behaviour.

Social and Emotional Competencies (SEC) complement values by providing children with the knowledge, skills and dispositions to understand themselves, interact positively with others, be responsible citizens and navigate the various new situations.

Learning Disposition (PRAISE) helps children to build positive behaviours and attitudes to learning.
