International Friendship Day

West Viewans commemorated International Friendship Day in the week of 4th April 2016. Pupils were exposed to the spices from different countries around the world, particularly in the region. This enables the pupils to see how such collaboration in the past has brought about partnership even in the present years. Pupils were asked to reflect on how they build friendships with those who are different from them.

Pupils also get to enjoy activities during their recess on Tuesday, 5th April, and Thursday, 7th April. On Tuesday, pupils touched and smelt the different spices that they were exposed to during the assembly programme.

On Thursday, pupils played traditional games from different countries. Judging by the smiles on their faces, they have truly enjoyed the experience.

NE Ambassadors manned the area where the pupils could write messages about friendship. Good job, NE Ambassadors!
